Swing’s the thing, as we crack open the songbooks of Benny Goodman,
Glenn Miller and the Dorsey Brothers for a set of fabulous big band
repertoire. Even more toe-tapping is guaranteed with our lyrical
salute to Superman, plus a feast of folk tunes and a tribute to the
inimitable Tina Turner.

Then enter RISING STAR Ernesto
Cervini, a startling young talent of Etobicoke roots, best known during his
formative years as the “one to watch” in the popular
Toronto All-Star
Big Band
. Now carving his musical future in New York City, Ernesto
will return to his home town to dazzle us with his fluency and
finesse on clarinet, piano and drums.

‘Tis the season! Our ever-popular Yuletide program evokes all the
majesty and wonder of Christmas, wrapped up in a sparkling package
of festive fun. Magnificent carols, favourite seasonal songs and
jazzy Yule tunes ignite the night in a musical celebration of this
most wonderful time of the year.

Sharing our festive stage is RISING STAR Maria Sbrocchi, an award-winning
young vocalist of astounding versatility, equally adept in the jazz
groove as she is in the Christmas oratorio. Everything you could want
